about the book

Armed to Surrender

Dr. Ashanti is an ambitious woman with an established career in education. She loses her first true love in college, which leads her down a road she would have never predicted. Through a couple of casual relationships, she finds herself pregnant and taking on the role of single mother with love and enthusiasm, while attempting to further her career. Though challenges are ever-present, she doesn’t give up on her goals nor the possibility of finding true love again.

She finally meets Gig, a man she connects with immediately and who seems to be her perfect match. After getting married and having more children, their relationship becomes distant, and it’s questionable whether it will survive.

Armed to Surrender is Ashanti’s testimony of triumph over difficult situations that may have caused others to give up. It is a powerful story of resilience and reflection that encourages readers to arm themselves with God’s Word as they surrender to His will for their lives.
