From Introspection to Action

Do you take care of your mental health?

How do you react when you hear that term: mental health?

Even with increased awareness surrounding mental wellbeing, admitting to and receiving treatment for mental disorders still remains a stigma for individuals within most communities. Especially for overachievers in their career—professionals in positions of stature—asking for “help” can feel alarming.

Renowned psychiatrist Dr. Nicole B. Washington’s debut work, From Introspection to Action: The High-Level Professional’s 28 Day Journey to Improving Mental Health, is a guide for every hesitant professional who wishes to reexamine his or her mental wellbeing. Over four weeks, you will receive short daily lessons in understanding and accepting mental disorders and taking actions towards improved mental health practices that benefit you and those around you.

By the time you complete this steady journey, you will see that, to take care of business and your loved ones, you must first take care of yourself.
