Emergency Medicine Physician
Yvette McQueen, MD, is an Emergency Medicine physician, travel doctor, instructor, speaker, entrepreneur, author, and consultant. She has traveled to over forty countries, serving both travelers and local residents, promoting health education, travel wellness, and disease prevention. Over the years, she has organized medical missions to Africa, performed hospital training in Rwanda and Tanzania, conducted wilderness emergency care training, taught internationally for the American Heart Association, and participated in international church missions.
As the CEO of MedQueen LLC, Dr. McQueen offers travel medicine, urgent care, and nutritional consultations via telemedicine to individuals, executives, and travel groups. As a locum tenens physician, she also travels across the United States and Caribbean, providing her services in hospitals’ emergency departments.
Dr. McQueen obtained her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed her emergency medicine residency in Detroit, Michigan. Previous works include Travelpedia and Inspiration in the Clouds.
